Manto Yoshino Kuzu is a high-quality starch powder, extracted from organic wild kuzu plants which grow in abundance in Japan. It is used in cooking for making sauces, soups, coating foods before deep frying and also for making Japanese sweets & desserts. Alternatively, mix some kuzu with water and a little sugar to make kuzuyu, a tasty drink that is believed to aid in curing colds. It gives translucent appearance and a smoother texture with much stronger binding qualities than other starches. As far as taste is concerned, texture is milder and creamier with a refined after taste.
