GINGER STRIPES “BENISHOGA” (1KG)

Benishoga is red pickled ginger root. It has bright red color and comes in long thin stripes. Benishoga is pickled in vinegar plum and has sour (and slightly spicy) flavor, unlike Sushi Ginger (Gari) which is pickled in sweet vinegar. It’s commonly used for garnishing in various dishes.
