This product contains 58.3% frozen genuine wasabi (Wasabi Japonica). Most other wasabi products contain ingredients to imitate the real taste of Japanese wasabi. Large amounts of horseradish and mustard powder are usually added. Wasabi is notoriously difficult to grow and as such is expensive due to the high demand.
