Lee Kum Kee Chilli Bean Sauce comes from Sichuan province in China and is made from red chilli peppers, fermented soy beans, and spices. This sauce is an essential ingredient of many Chinese Szechuan dishes such as mapo tofu (hot tofu with beef) and gong bao chicken (hot chicken ginger). Lee Kum Kee Chili Bean Sauce is very hot and spicy and therefore it is recommended to use it carefully and dispense the hot sauce with a teaspoon.
