Even a small portion of this kimchee base will allow you to give anything your cooking a hot and spicy Asian-infused flavor. This spicy chili sauce is made from two types of chili peppers: one that is coarsely grated and has a fine aroma and sweetness, and another which features tingling spiciness. This blend of chilis combined creates a full bodied spicy chili flavor. It is seasoned with garlic, mikan (mandarin orange), apple, and raw ginger. As a result, you can sense their original fresh flavors and aromas. This kimchee base also contains extracts of bonito and squid, so you can taste light notes of seafood.
