Miso is the Japanese term for fermented soybean paste rich in unbound glutamates, which give some foods that meaty taste known as umami. Commonly used to give depth and flavor in various dishes (especially soups), miso may also be used to make sauces, marinades and salad dressings. High in salt, it is also rich in B vitamins and protein.
Storage instructions
Store in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Although this is a dried product we recommend to store it in a refrigerator in order to maintain its color.
