SHRIMP VANNAMEI (HOSO)

The white leg shrimp (Litopenaeus Vannamei, or Penaeus Vannamei) also known as Pacific white shrimp, or King prawn, or White shrimp, is a species of prawn of the eastern Pacific Ocean commonly caught or farmed for food. Naturally sweet and flavourful with a moderately bouncy texture, it is one of the most widely consumed types of shrimp in the world and for good reason. It cooks quickly, pairs well with a wide variety of spices, and delivers a sweet, slightly briny flavor that’s hard to resist.
