Kaiso salad is a Japanese seaweed salad. It usually contains a mix of seaweeds such as wakame, agar, or other varieties and it’s served cold with a light, tangy dressing made from ingredients like soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. It tends to be refreshing, slightly crunchy, salty and a little sweet and sour. Traditional kaiso salads can contain several different types and colors of seaweed. This package is a mixture of four different types of dried seaweed for the preparation of salads, as well as for decoration. Soak in water for about 5 minutes before eating. Do not use the soaking water for further processing!
