The Japanese citrus fruit, Yuzu, is a popular ingredient in many Asian dishes. This citrus fruit, also known as Citrus Junos, can be used as a marinade for meat and fish or as an additive to sauces. Traditionally it has been used in pickles and preserves. In Japanese cuisine, it is often served on the table along with sushi, sashimi and tempura. Yuzu is tart and acidic with a slightly sweet taste. Combined with soy sauce, sweet sauce and rice vinegar, it also makes a delicious salad dressing, or a marinade for chicken and any other meats.
