PANKO BREADCRUMBS (300GR)

Panko is a Japanese style breadcrumb used in popular dishes such as chicken katsu (deep fried chicken cutlet). Yutaka Panko is made using traditional techniques by baking soft white bread, removing the crusts and coarsely grounding the bread into large 6mm flakes. These large airy flakes absorb less grease and stay crispier for longer than traditional breadcrumbs, making them perfect for deep frying. Panko is widely used as a crunchy topping for salads, or as a binder for hamburger patties.
