LOBSTER WHOLE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

This lobster is localized to the Pacific coast of the Americas. It is visually the plainest of the three, relying on a camouflage of solid, dark olive-green tones to blend into shallow rocky reefs and volcanic crevices. Like all spiny lobsters, they lack the large crushing claws of true lobsters but possess long, thick, spine-covered antennae used for defense.
