LOBSTER WHOLE INDIAN

This specie of spiny lobster is a vibrant, clawless crustacean found in the coral reefs of the Indo-Pacific. Known for its striking coloration, it is also called the painted rock lobster. Like other spiny lobsters, it lacks the large claws of true lobsters but has two pairs of antennae. The larger pair is thick and spiny, with a pinkish base that fades to a whitish color. A smaller, branched pair of antennae are used for sensing. Other names include painted lobster, common rock lobster, bamboo lobster and blue spiny lobster.
