Dulse is a naturally savory red seaweed with a mild, slightly salty umami flavor. Finely milled for easy use in cooking it has a crustacean flavor and can be sprinkled into soups, sauces, salads, rice, pasta, vegetables and seasonings to add depth and a subtle taste of the sea. It’s harvested by hand in its natural environment on the coast of Ireland (West Ireland), or coast of French Brittany (Western Channel).
